Natasha Richardson, who was critically injured after a fall during private skiing lessons at the famed Mont Tremblant resort, didn't appear hurt and was walking around shortly after the incident.
"She did not show any visible sign of injury but the ski patrol followed strict procedures and brought her back to the bottom of the slope and insisted she should see a doctor," said a statement issued Tuesday from the resort, which is about 80 miles (128 kilometers) northwest of Montreal.
The ski resort said the instructor and a ski patrol accompanied the actress to her hotel, where they again recommended she should be seen by a doctor.
Mont Tremblant spokeswoman Catherine Lacasse said Richardson said she was fine at first.
"An hour later she said she didn't feel well. She had a headache, so we sent her to the hospital," Lacasse said. "There were no signs of impact and no blood, nothing."
An ambulance was called and Richardson was brought to the Centre Hospitalier Laurentien in Ste-Agathe and was later transferred to Hopital du Sacre-Coeur in Montreal. Richardson, who skiing on a beginners trail, was hospitalized Monday.

I saw that on the news and it is just so sad. We LOVE that movie also.
Oh my goodness! I didnt know about this but Im glad you did. I love her in that movie. Hope she is going to be ok...
How sad. I had not heard anything about this. It's pretty much Nick Jr. for me all day long. My hubby mocks me incessantly about it too.
We've watched The Parent Trap a hundred times...very sad...
I just heard on the news tonight that she had died...she was so beautiful. Because Liam Neeson is one of my favorite actors, it hurts my heart for him and his family.
